Tooth Fairy
Today we had a special visitor come teach us all about how to take care of our teeth! A big thanks to Dr. Hansen's Family Dentistry for sending the tooth fairy our way. She showed us the proper way to brush, talked about healthy foods and sugary snacks, and reminded us to floss. The students LOVED her and her giant tooth brush.

Seeds, Roots, and Plants
We had so much fun exploring all different kinds of seeds at Amy's ABC Preschool last week. After we talked about the different sizes and shapes, we turned some grass upside down to learn about roots. Then we planted our own marigold seeds. Miss Amy is so excited for spring! Anybody's marigold sprouted yet? Mine has!

Preschool Happenings
We have been busy, busy at Amy's ABC Preschool since my last post....which was waaaaaaaay too long ago! We did a really fun science experiment today. We started with 1/2 C of Epsom salt and dissolved it in about 3/4 C of hot water (not boiling, but hot). It was fun to listen to the students predictions of what would happen to the salt as we started stirring. After the salt was dissolved, and we let the water cool for a bit, the students painted with the water on a black piece of construction paper.
After they painted, and it dried, we could see the crystals start to form. The students called it Magic Elsa Water. Lots of fun!
A few other fun projects we've done lately.... George Washington's for President's Day, Moon painting, my body has bones (qtip art), and "P" is for peacock. It was a lot of fun for the students to color the coffee filters, spray them with water, and then watch the colors run together. We are learning lots of fun things with Miss Amy at preschool!
